Until now, there have been no domestic standards in Japan to guarantee the safety and effectiveness of products using hypochlorous acid water for disinfection and virus removal. The Hypochlorous Acid Industry Association is the only organization qualified to test the safety and effectiveness of products that use hypochlorous acid water and grant certification in accordance with the JSA standards issued by the external standardization organization (JSA) of the national government (Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry). Products that meet these standards receive the 'JSA standard' certification. Products certified under the 'JSA standard' are guaranteed to be the safest and most effective hypochlorous acid water products currently available in Japan. We hope that many businesses using hypochlorous acid water will contribute to ensuring quality in the market and protecting consumers. *We are also inviting companies interested in joining the Hypochlorous Acid Chemical Industry Association.
